Hayman/VERY sweet and moist

by Bill Stevenson
(Frankford, Delaware USA)

Although they will win no awards for size or beauty, their flavor/sweetness is unequaled. Although they are not included in your varieties list they should be. Not to be confused with what some call "white haymans", those are white fleshed and dry. True Haymans have a yellow/greenish flesh. A link for another perspective,

Thanks for information about Hayman Sweet Potatoes! NEW

This information and link for Hayman sweet potatoes is quite helpful. My family's from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, so I will look for this type. They sound delicious.
